April 20, 2013- The unforgettable date, as I entered into new chapter of my life, as I converted into Iglesia Ni Cristo (INC). I was baptized around 9:55 am of the said date at the locale of Sta. Teresita, in Angeles City, Pampanga, Ecclesiastical District of Pampanga together with others from the locales of Amsic, Dau Mabalacat, Arayat and other locales in said province. I was happy when I finally baptized and will join to my brothers and sisters in faith for the first time on my nearly 30 years existence into this world, and hoping that I will can do my duty in church. But before that, as early as 2011 when Bro. Maximiano Cayanan an 83 year old active member of Iglesia Ni Cristo (INC) introduced to me about the teachings of INC, and since then he always convincing me to attend in church in locale of Sta. Teresita (although I attended once in the locale of Clarkview also in Angeles City on September 21, 2002 as an invitation to me by my classmate in STI College-Angeles City Branch Joeson Galang, an active INC member) particularly he convinced me was to listen their so called "PAMAMAHAYAG" in which they introduced about the teachings and doctrines of INC, and their differences in some religious affilations. Particularly their doctrine is about our Lord Jesus Christ physical in nature, INC believes that our Lord Jesus Christ is a human being in nature, but an extra ordinary human, not a God as some religions believe. On July 27, 2012 when Bro. Cayanan convinced me once more to attend Grand Evangelical Mission (GEM) held at the Clark Ampiteather in Clark Freeport Zone, Pampanga which was I did, as a celebration of 98th year anniversary of INC. Most of the members from INC locales in Pampanga attended in GEM despite rain showers. What a lot of people, I'd never seen that before, proving that these people are very active in their faith and duty. On September 8, 2012 when Bro. Cayanan introduced Bro. Reynante Velasco, an INC minister to me. Bro. Velasco who will be indoctrinating me, for 25 session days, in which ended on October 15, 2012. On October 20, 2012 when I was set into pre-screening or as they called it "SINUSUBOK" together with others. In that particular screening, we must required 48 straight worship, and 15 non-consecutive day in their so called "PULONG PANALANGIN". On April 7, 2013 when I attended in their so called SANTA CENA (which it is held every once a year), I'm not yet received the symbolic "bread" and "wine" because I'm not yet baptize at that time. On April 12, 2013, following the 50th year death anniversary of Bro. Felix Y. Manalo, The Last Messenger of God in these Last Days, I was set, together with others in final screening, in which most of us passed the screening (except the two others who will set in another review because of their inconsistency in their answer, as they asked by a minister). On April 14, 2013 the last day of my "PULONG PANALANGIN" just six days before my baptismal in INC. On April 15, 2013 me, together with 6 others were set in their so called "PULONG PANATA" in which headed by Bro. Danilo Lugtu. The said "PULONG PANATA" ended on April 19, 2013 as Bro. Lugtu distributed our togas that we will use in baptism in the next day (April 20, 2013). < E N D>
